Writing a process essay



Had to ask for a revision and I got a revision back in a timely manner as well with no issues. Almost every week in college I am required to write papers in several classes and finish the assignments in a short period of time. So learning about my writing process and how it works is very important to me, writing a process essay. The first thing I do when I receive an assignment to write a paper is panic. Bottom line is that there is always room for editing. Everything is still so familiar, and I tend to skip over a lot of errors.


Setting the paper aside for a few hours or days, then returning to it afterwards really helped me in detecting much of the errors. Just the distance I gave myself from the papers I wrote throughout this semester was all I needed to retrieve the most errors I could from what I previously wrote. The way Lamott explains how a first draft is the down draft, writing a process essay, is something I find very interesting, yet struggle with in my own writing. I often struggle with being emotionally stable towards my work; never thinking it is good enough. I often struggle with simply getting my ideas down on paper no matter how incoherent they sound. When I take the time to prepare really rough first draft, get all my thoughts on paper, and revise, my stress level is severely reduced, writing a process essay, and my emotions, along with paper quality, are greatly enhanced.


I also struggle with clarity. Writing a process essay am so used to writing introspectively that I forget to remember that I am telling the story and not everyone knows all the details. Lastly, my biggest challenge with writing is letting go and remembering that it is not as hard as I am making it seem. I tend to be wordy as well. Always write for your audience to be a good writer. Instead of it being an eight-week class, I have gotten a lot out of it. I am aware of many writing schemes and format; in fact, I have gotten better at reading as well. There are many rules to writing and I have been lucky to have learned a few from this class. Knowing that this is my last assignment, writing a process essay, it makes me sad. My procrastination is my biggest problem because I always wait to the last minute to get things done even though I knew weeks in advance. I just feel like my best work come from me being under pressure. This has affected me in many different ways which include writing a process essay stressed out, lack of free time, and I even get mad at myself.


When it comes to my writing, I have trouble with corrections that need to be made to it, writing a process essay. I like to write, but I usually do not get it checked over and it hurts my grade.
